  Junior Board of Directors 2021 Community Projects

Our Junior Board of Directors (JBOD), comprised of five young leaders, organized two community projects in 2021. The group hosted an animal supply drive in spring and collected donations from employees and members in the Albuquerque Metro Area, Santa Fe, and Farmington. Supplies benefitted local animal shelters. Here are the final tallies of donations made:

Albuquerque Area:
    417 items donated
  113.5 pounds of Dog Food
  56 pounds of Cat Food

  Santa Fe:
    13 items
  114 pounds of Dog Food/Treats

  Farmington:
    291 items
  251 pounds of Dog Food
  93 pounds of Cat food

  In the fall of 2021, JBOD partnered with Cuidando Los Niños, an organization that aims to break the cycle of homelessness for children and families. Thanks to the generosity of our members and employees, we received bags and boxes full of jackets, sweaters, shoes, toys, and hygiene articles.
