In 2019, U.S. Eagle joined with other New Mexico credit unions and donated $85,000 to the University of New Mexico Children’s Hospital through the Credit Union for Kids program. Our donation helps support the Connected Academy, a non-profit organization focused on providing the funding to employ an accredited full-time teacher at the UNMCH Child Life Wing. This helps children being treated at UNM Children’s Hospital for chronic illnesses from falling behind in school and offers the children a sense of normalcy during these difficult times.
Our continued efforts, such as our reusable bag fundraiser will aid in the continuation of this great cause.
