This year, two seats for the Board of Directors are up for election.
Nominating Procedures: Nominations for the Board of Directors may be made by the Nominating Committee or by petition. The following requirements must be met to petition for nomination:
- An official petition must be secured from U.S. Eagle and returned no later than March 27, 2020. The petition must be signed by at least 500 credit union members in good standing and must include all account numbers. The members must be at least 18 years of age.
- Written statement of qualifications, biographical information, and a willingness to serve a three-year term, if elected, must accompany the petition.
Voting Procedures: The Nominating Committee’s slate of candidates will be voted upon by plurality vote by electronic device or mail ballot. If any additional valid nominations by petition are received, per the nominating procedures outlined, those nominees will be added to the Slate of Candidates and voted upon to fill the current vacancies. If there is only one nomination for each position, nominees will be approved by acclamation.
