Become a Credit Union Volunteer!
U.S. Eagle is seeking applications from passionate members interested in serving as a volunteer leader through one of our committees. As a member-owned cooperative, U.S. Eagle relies on volunteers who care about our communities and believe everyone deserves financial well-being.
How Does it Work?
Committee service is an ideal entry point for members interested in leadership. They focus on specific areas of governance and prepare recommendations for the full Board of Directors. Most committee members can expect a commitment of 5-10 hours a month that includes regular attendance of meetings, either quarterly or monthly, reviewing materials in advance of those meetings and providing thoughtful perspective.
You don’t need financial expertise – we are looking for diverse perspectives and occupations. While not required, a professional background in any of the following areas would be valuable:
- Information Technology (IT)
- Cybersecurity
- Auditing
- Finance & Accounting
- Policy & Governance
- Community Partnership
