Kevin McMahon

Kevin McMahon has been a U.S. Eagle credit union member for nine years and a volunteer since 2018. He was elected Chair of the Board of Directors in 2022. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and mathematics and an MBA in Management Information Systems from the University of New Mexico.

Kevin retired in 2019 after 31 years at Sandia National Laboratories, including 17 years as a department manager in Commercial Nuclear Fuel Cycle Research and Development. In 2022, he was appointed by New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan‑Grisham to serve as a public member of the New Mexico Board of Dental Health, where he continues to serve. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Collections Manager at Citicorp and as a Chemistry Teacher at Eldorado High School. He has also served on the board of a local nonprofit organization, including roles as Board Chair and Supervisory Committee Chair.

Nancy Haines

Nancy K. Haines has been a member of the credit union since 1983. She was elected to the Board in 1988 where she has held positions of Director, 1st Vice Chairman, and Chairman until 2003.  In 2011 she returned as Board Advisor and since 2014 she has served as Director, Chair, including several committees and currently holds the position of First Vice Chair of the Board. Nancy’s background is financial, has served as CFO of several local firms beginning her career with KPMG Peat Marwick, served as past Treasurer of the Village of Los Ranchos and had served on many boards and committees.  She brings her business experience to U.S. Eagle while always remembering the human element of helping members succeed in their financial well-being. Her goal is to never forget our members while maintaining the safety and soundness of the credit union.
