A member came in worried about funds needed to pay for a health insurance premium. He had recently retired and his health insurance discontinued. He had an important medical procedure pending and needed the coverage to pay for it. We were able to provide him with a loan to pay for the premium. The member was extremely grateful as he was not sure that he would be approved for anything when he walked through the front door.

A member came to us in a difficult situation. He had been on short-term disability, but it had run out and his long-term disability would not be approved until October. He was worried about how he was going to pay his bills. He came to us for help, and we were able to provide him with a loan that gave him the funds he needed to cover his expenses and get through a challenging time.

A member came into our branch with a finance company check asking if it was legitimate. The check was valid; however, it carried an interest rate of 35.99%. We showed her the total amount she would end up paying for the loan. She did not want to pay that much interest but needed the funds. We offered her a better loan, which would save her over $700 in interest. She was incredibly grateful that we took the time to explain the financial difference and to help her obtain the funds she needed.
