U.S. Eagle hosted shred events throughout the month of April in honor of Earth Day.
Secure shredding was offered at our Farmington, Santa Fe, Bernalillo, and Albuquerque branches. Shred Day was a free event for the community; we just asked for a food donation to benefit local food pantries around New Mexico. All together we shredded close 91,050 pounds of paper! According to research by the University of Southern Indiana that means we potentially saved over 700 trees, 136 cubic yards of landfill space, 17,200+ gallons of oil and over 300,000 gallons of water!

With your help, Rio Grande Food Project, Food Depot, and Economic Council Helping Others (ECHO) received non-perishable food items to help our communities.

Thanks to everyone who shredded paper, donated food and made this event a sucess!

Stay tuned for Shred Day 2020 information!
