Financial Literacy Month takes on new meaning this year as millions of Americans struggle to cope with the economic impacts of the pandemic. In 2020, 40% of American consumers had trouble paying at least one bill or expense, underscoring the importance of solid financial education to navigate these challenging times.

According to a recent study by the Pew Research Center, the wealth gap between America’s richest and poorest families more than doubled from 1989 to 2016. We believe that access to robust financial education can be a catalyst for positive change.
