US Eagle Foundation Launches the Collective Spark Housing Assistance Program
To celebrate US Eagle’s 86th Anniversary, the US Eagle Foundation is collaborating with two community partners to assist households struggling to pay their monthly rent or mortgage. Rio Grande Food Project and Supportive Housing Coalition will each receive seed funding from the Foundation to assist households struggling to pay their rent or mortgage and who might be facing eviction.
Rio Grande Food Project’s bill assistance staff will reach out to families and individuals meeting qualifying criteria and administer the funds.
The Supportive Housing Coalition will distribute the funds to those participating in their housing programs who have fallen behind with paying their rent. Eligible households will receive up to $1,000 in support.
US Eagle Foundation will launch a fundraising drive over the next year with the goal of raising up to $85,000 and will be matching up to $20,000 in funding. Donations can be made online or at any of US Eagle’s branches. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for more information as it becomes available.
